The Centre for Legal Research and Studies (CLRS) at VidhiAagaz organised an International Conference on Human Rights and Constitutional Law, held online on 9 April 2023. Academicians, lawyers, research scholars and students from India and abroad were invited to present papers, with selected work published in an ISBN-registered book.

The list was indicative; any related topic in constitutional law or human rights was welcome.

Eligibility

Open to students, educators, researchers, academicians, practitioners, policy-makers and other stakeholders.

Submission procedure

  • Authors first submitted an abstract of 250–300 words.
  • All abstracts were subject to blind peer review; only approved abstracts proceeded to the full paper.
  • Registration followed acceptance of the abstract.

Registration charges

  • Students / Research Scholars: ₹700
  • Academicians / Experts / Lawyers / Judicial officers: ₹1,000
  • Foreign delegates: $50

Submission guidelines

  • The submission must be original, unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
  • Footnotes and references must conform to the Bluebook (19th/20th edition).
  • Submissions in .doc format only, with no identifying details in the manuscript.

Publication

The three best manuscripts, as selected by the Board, were published in an ISBN-registered book at no additional charge; other selected manuscripts could be included for an optional charge.
